THE BLACK NATIVE AMERICAN CONNECTION

Sandy Little was and is a Native American, a member of the indigenous peoples from the regions of North America now encompassed by the continental United States, including parts of Alaska and the island state of Hawaii. Sandy Little was one who came from a large number of distinct tribes, states, and ethnic groups, many of which survive as intact political communities. Pictured here is one of Sandy and Alma's son, Jay Little, those of this family knew him as uncle Jay.

Sandy was a Farmer, with his wife Alma Allen Little started their Family in the state of Mississippi, County of Tate, Town of Senatobia -Como in the late 1800's.The White man has used a wide range of terms to describe us. No consensus has been reached among us as to what we prefer to be called collectively. Native Americans have also been known as American Indians, Amerindians, Amerinds, Aboriginal, Indians, Indigenous, Original Americans, First Americans, Red Indians, or The Black Indians.

European colonization of the Americas was a period of conflict between Old and New World cultures. Most of the written historical record about Native Americans began with European contact. Ideologies clashed, old world diseases decimated, religious institutions challenged, and technologies were exchanged in what would be one of the greatest meetings of cultures in the history of the world.

eNative Americans lived in hunter/farmer subsistence societies with comparatively fewer societal constraints and institutional structures--as well as less focus on the acquisition of material goods and market transactions--than the more unyielding, institutional, market-based societies of Western Europe. Why Every race of people want unity with their own people and Families first; Except, the Sandy and Alma Allen Little family in America whose roots are found in the state of Mississippi, Panola County? Our condition and lack of love for ourselves must be attributed to as the Bible teaches us, that "We are destroyed for the like of knowledge" Hosea 4:6. Why it is so hart for us to unite and be the family that God want us to be? Because,The worst kind of crime has been committed against us, for we were robbed of our desire to even want to think and do for ourselves. We are often pictured as a lazy and trifling people who are without thoughts of advancement. I say, this is a condition that someone very cleverly wanted and created

within and among us

Robert H. Kinzor and Edward Sagarin, in their book, "The Negro in American Business" (page 81), states that the history of America would be different today if the slaves freed from bondage had been given, in addition to the three amendments to the Constitution, the famous "forty acres and a mule."

"WE instead started not only without land and the money to purchase it but with few avenues open to earn and save money. Ownership of producing land is a prime and necessary part of freedom. A FAMILY cannot exist freely without land, and WE, members of the Sandy and Alma Allen Little Family of Mississippi here in American is evidence of that fact. Laws was passed limiting our us in land ownership or limiting the areas in which such purchases or even rentals could be made. Sandy Little was a member of original owners of the land before the man came to America and after he died the family loss the little that he had left. Again, Mr. Kinzor and Mr. Sagarin gave a hint in their book of the great psychological strategy that the used on us - that was the original brainwash. On page 84, the authors state that the land sold to ex-slaves was of poor quality and in an inferior location. All of this is part of the clever plan used to discourage our people from wanting to own producing land for themselves and to cause a great dislike within them for having anything to do with tilling, cultivating, extracting and producing for themselves as other free and independent people. It is a shame! This shows you and I what white America is to us and just why we have not been able to do anything worthwhile for self. They want us to be helpless so they can mistreat us as always. We must come together and unite. It is time.
